2026 Andrew Puetz Family Grant

INTRODUCTION

Andrew Puetz was a vibrant, larger-than-life young man from Marysburg, Saskatchewan — full of infectious laughter, quick wit, loyalty, and limitless energy. In February 2020, at just 22 years old, Andrew tragically passed away in an accident. Because he had chosen to become an organ and tissue donor, his final act became one of profound generosity. On what would have been his 23rd birthday, Andrew’s gifts saved and improved multiple lives.

Andrew’s selfless decision reflects the very heart of the Move for Life Foundation: celebrating organ donors as true heroes and supporting the transplant community with compassion and action. By naming this grant in his honour, we keep Andrew’s light shining — turning tragedy into hope and ensuring Saskatchewan families facing the ongoing realities of transplant care are never left to carry the burden alone.

Thanks to the incredible success of Team Andrew Puetz at the 2025 Walk n’ Talk, we are able to expand the 2026 grant. This allows us to support even more Saskatchewan recipients, providing meaningful help where it is needed most.
